16-time convicted felon arrested in Fort Pierce narcotics raid

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — A 16-time convicted felon was arrested after a narcotics-related search warrant in Fort Pierce.

A narcotics-related search warrant executed by the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division (SID), with support from the SWAT Team, led to the arrest of a 49-year-old Fort Pierce man on November 7.

The operation took place near 2000 Oleander Boulevard, where detectives recovered:

  • Around 20 grams of cocaine
  • Around 7.5 grams of marijuana
  • Drug paraphernalia including a scale and packaging materials
  • A .380 caliber handgun and an additional magazine

The suspect, Antonio Tyrone McArthur, a 16-time convicted felon, was taken into custody and faces:

  • Possession of cocaine
  • Possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine
  • Possession of 20 grams or less of cannabis
  • Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

McArthur is currently being held at the St. Lucie County Jail…
