VERO BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A dramatic chase involving both a K-9 team and drone pilots ended with the capture of two teenage runaways who allegedly tried to break into an occupied Vero Beach home in late October.
The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office (IRCSO) said deputies and Vero Beach police responded to a burglary in progress on October 28 after a woman called 911, reporting two teens were trying to force her front door open. When officers arrived, both boys ran.
