St. Lucie County Libraries will offer free programs for adults in December. Events will take place at several branches, including Kilmer, Pruitt Campus, Lakewood Park, Morningside, and Lewis. The programs include arts and crafts, gardening, meditation, music, and more.
At the Kilmer Branch, ‘Art in the Afternoon’ sessions are scheduled for December 3 and 17, focusing on stamp carving. On December 9, adults can learn plastic canvas sewing to make winter-themed bookmarks. Supplies are provided, and registration is not required. The Lakewood Park Branch will hold an ornament decoration session on December 13.
The Film Club at the Pruitt Campus Library meets on December 3 and 17. Participants watch selected movies on Kanopy and join in-person discussions. Adults can contact Cole Curtiss-Fuentes to join.
