FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — A man is behind bars after being accused of burglarizing semi-trucks in St. Lucie County on Wednesday.
According to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office (SLCSO), on November 25 at about 8:44 p.m., deputies from the Patrol Operations Bureau responded to 1407 Angle Road—a business used for parking semi-trucks—after receiving reports of a man going through trucks on the property.
Upon law enforcements arrival, deputies found the suspect, identified as Steven Monaco, and took him into custody without incident. Deputies say during the investigation gloves were recovered from the area along with multiple items found to have been removed from the cabs of the trucks…
