STUART, FL – Stuart Police Detectives have arrested 33-year-old Crystal Camille Curet of Vero Beach following an investigation into the alleged financial exploitation of an 89-year-old assisted living resident.
Curet, a former sales manager at a local facility, is accused of accessing the victim’s debit card while assisting with Veterans’ benefits and making more than $5,000 in unauthorized charges over the course of a month. The transactions included multiple bills, fast food purchases, and 47 Amazon orders. Investigators determined the activity began shortly after Curet’s termination from the facility.
Based on financial records and the investigation, detectives obtained a warrant charging Curet with 47 counts of Criminal Use of Personal Identification of a Victim Over 60. She was arrested in Orange County, FL, and is currently being held at the Orange County Jail on a $1,880,000 bond…
