Postal worker accused of involvement in $600K credit card theft scheme in South Florida

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man is behind bars after he was accused of being involved in a South Florida credit card theft operation that caused over $600,000 in losses, according to CBS12’s News partners South Florida Sun Sentinel.

Sajay Cole, whom the South Florida Sun Sentinel says is a U.S. Postal Service Worker at the West Palm Beach Mail distribution center, is accused of allegedly stealing hundreds of pieces of mail with credit cards inside. The sentinel says he was arrested on Sunday and is facing one felony count of theft of mail matter by an employee of the U.S. Postal Service.

The mother of his 1-year-old daughter, Alicia Murdock, was also booked on counts of theft of mail matter, the Sentinel reports…
