Deputies use PIT maneuver to stop reckless driver after bizarre Stuart Beach incident

STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — An Orlando man pointing finger guns at beachgoers reportedly sparked a chaotic chase at Stuart Beach on Tuesday, ending with a PIT maneuver and an arrest.

Deputies with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office say they responded to Stuart Beach after reports of a suspicious man, later identified as 25-year-old Christopher Taylor, making hand gestures and pointing his fingers at them as if he had a gun.

Shortly after, more calls reportedly came in reporting Taylor driving recklessly and acting erratically…
