FAU Harbor Branch Ocean Discovery Visitors Center

FAU Harbor Branch Ocean Discovery Visitors Center is located in Fort Pierce, Florida, and serves as the public gateway to the FAU Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute. The center highlights nearly 50 years of marine research through interactive, research-driven exhibits. Visitors can explore more than 1,000 gallons of aquaria showcasing seagrass beds, coral reefs, and sustainable aquaculture systems. These displays feature over 80 species of plants and animals.

The center focuses on marine biomedical research, marine mammal conservation, aquaculture, ecosystem health, and ocean engineering. Exhibits explain how scientists study marine chemicals for medical use, protect dolphins and manatees, and develop systems to support global food needs.
