FORT PIERCE — The Pineapple Playhouse is kicking off the new year with a performance that is intimate, electrifying, and just the right amount of uncomfortable. It’s theater that matters ── with an encore production of “The Mountaintop.”
The drama written by Pulitzer Prize Award-winning playwright Katori Hall, is a fictional depiction of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s last night on earth.
The show ran last June at the Pineapple to enormous praise, and the theater has decided to bring it back and let the community’s intellect be stoked once again…
