Fiery Stuart crash kills 20-year-old driver, passenger saved by good Samaritan

STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — A fiery single-car crash killed a 20-year-old man Saturday night, with a 20-year-old woman narrowly escaping the flames thanks to a good Samaritan.

According to deputies with the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, the driver, who has not been identified, was killed after losing control of his car while speeding and crashing into a tree on Sea Branch Boulevard near U.S. 1.

The driver was taken to the hospital, but deputies say he succumbed to his injuries Sunday morning…
