HOBE SOUND, FL — Cadets Family Restaurant is preparing to open its doors in Hobe Sound, bringing traditional Haitian cuisine and family-driven hospitality to the community. The restaurant is targeting a January opening at 8767 SE Bridge Rd., Hobe Sound, FL 33455, owner Farah Cadet told Business Debut.
The restaurant is owned and operated by members of the Cadet family, including Farah Cadet, her father Marcel Cadet, her sister Christina Cadet, Christina’s partner Bobrowslsky Rauzard, and Farah’s husband Ralphny Olinsca. Together, the group is opening its first restaurant with a shared vision rooted in culture, food, and togetherness.
What to Expect
Cadets Family Restaurant will offer a blend of full-service dining and counter service, allowing guests to dine in or order more casually. The dining room will seat approximately 70 guests.
The concept centers on traditional Haitian cuisine and hospitality, with the goal of offering something new to the Hobe Sound area. Cadet said the family wants the restaurant to feel welcoming and distinct, giving guests an experience that reflects Haitian culture from the moment they walk in.

The menu will feature authentic Haitian dishes prepared using traditional methods and flavors. Guests can expect offerings such as griot, a marinated and fried pork dish, and diri ak dyondyon, a black mushroom rice commonly served in Haitian homes…
