JUPITER, Fla. (CBS12) — After months of uncertainty caused by a government shutdown, the skies over Jupiter were alive with roaring engines and smoke trails on Sunday as the Mach 1 Salute to Service Airshow finally made its debut.
Originally scheduled for November, the event was postponed when federal restrictions grounded plans. But this weekend, jets soared above the waterfront at Love Street, drawing hundreds of spectators eager for high-speed thrills and patriotic celebration.
