School District honors top 2025/2026 administrators

PORT ST. LUCIE – St. Lucie County School officials here named the District’s top administrators for the 2025/2026 School Year in a special ceremony held during the Dec. 9 School Board meeting.

Assistant to the Superintendent Kevin Perry served as master of ceremonies during the event, first teeing up the crowd with a brief history of each award, now announced annually at the midpoint of every school year. He purposely teased the crowd with details of White City Elementary Assistant Principal Lauren Geesler and Dan McCarty Middle School Principal Latricia Stubbs-James without revealing their names to the very end.

“The Outstanding Assistant Principal Achievement Award was established in 1997 to recognize outstanding assistant principals for their contributions to their schools and communities,” he said. “The program honors assistant principals who have utilized teamwork and leadership skills to increase student performance, promote safe learning environments and establish partnerships with parents and community members.”…
