The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office (SLCSO) is asking for public help in investigating a “suspicious incident” involving a semi truck that occurred near a Pilot truck stop this week.
At 11:30 p.m. on January 15, 2026, a 911 caller reported a suspicious person on South Rock Road, behind the Pilot truck stop in Fort Pierce, Florida.
SLCSO responded and found a male “near a semi-truck that appeared to have left the roadway and entered a ditch while attempting to abruptly turn around.”…
