St. Lucie River Blessing of the Fleet set for Feb. 28

STUART — The 56th annual St. Lucie River Blessing of the Fleet, the longest-running annual event in Stuart history, will take place Saturday, Feb. 28, offering area boaters a free, time-honored tradition celebrating maritime safety and community.

Boaters will gather at the North Fork of the St. Lucie River at 10:30 a.m., followed by the parade and blessing at 11 a.m.

Each participating vessel will pass a review boat, where multi-faith clergy will offer individual blessings…
