FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — The Fort Pierce Police Department has identified the 65-year-old woman killed while sitting by a pool in the Villages of Longwood community behind HCA Lawnwood Hospital over the weekend. Police say Anastasia Fiona Allman, 65, died after a Jeep Grand Cherokee crashed through bushes and fencing around the pool and trapped her underneath.
The Fort Pierce Police Department said officers responded to the 1600 block of Laurel Leaf Lane on Saturday around 2:10 p.m. in response to a report of a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash.
When officers arrived, they found that a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 38yearold woman had veered off S.Lawnwood Circle, crashing through hedges and fencing before plowing into the pool area striking Allman of Massachusetts…
