FORT PIERCE – Police Chief David M. Smith, newly sworn in as the city’s top cop, recently released a statement regarding a video which apparently circulated on social media about a girl being attacked by three juveniles last fall.
According to an investigation report, the girl was attacked on Oct. 18 at about 4:10 p.m., near a playground at Orangewood Apartments in the 700 block of South 29th Street, Fort Pierce.
The three girls proceeded to beat and kick victim and dragged her from the playground to the street, while pulling her hair and striking her on the head and ribcage, according to the police investigation report…
