(Port St. Lucie, Fla.) has begun renovation work on its Watson Course, one of two 18-hole championship layouts at the private club community on Florida’s Treasure Coast.
The Watson Course was originally designed by golf legend Tom Watson and measures 7,019 yards from the back tees, playing to a par of 72. Known for its firm, rolling fairways, expansive greens and strategically placed bunkers, the layout was designed to blend playability with the area’s natural landscape.
The renovation will be completed in phases, allowing members continued access to the course during construction. Nine holes are expected to reopen for play while work continues on the remaining nine, minimizing disruption and maintaining golf availability…
