Lighthouse ArtCenter (LAC) will bring the outdoors to life during the Thirteenth Annual Plein Air Festival, returning March 1-7. Throughout this free celebration, the streets, parks, and waterfronts of Palm Beach and Martin Counties will transform into open-air studios as 30 award-winning artists paint local scenes and compete for more than $15,000 in cash and prizes. The public is invited to watch the creative process unfold and experience the French tradition of plein air painting.
The festival includes live painting demonstrations, artist meet-and-greets, and community events. The works are available for purchase at Lighthouse ArtCenter Gallery in Tequesta, with proceeds benefiting the center’s dynamic exhibitions, year-round classes, and free outreach programs for underserved youth, veterans, and individuals with special needs…
