‘Pollinators in Florida’ lecture highlights nature’s essential workers

VERO BEACH – The Emerson Center welcomes Dennis Mayo, Florida Master Naturalist, for an engaging E-Series lecture, Pollinators in Florida: Nature’s Essential Workers, on Tuesday, March 24, at 7 p.m.

Mayo will explore the vital role of pollinators — from bees and butterflies to bats and birds — in maintaining Florida’s ecosystems and food supply, and share practical ways the public can help protect them.

Complementing the lecture, Art at the Emerson Gallery will feature Buzz & Flutter: Art Inspired by Pollinators, a special exhibition celebrating the creatures that make pollination possible…
