MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. (Gray News) – An inmate used their “sheer strength” to twist and break out of handcuffs, according to authorities.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office posted photos of the broken handcuffs on Facebook.
Authorities said the handcuffs were completely twisted and broken by an inmate “experiencing significant mental health issues.”
“The inmate was able to force one cuff off through sheer strength and unpredictability,” the post said…
