A Vero developer wants to add a mile to the St. Johns Heritage Parkway as a gateway to his more than 1,300 acre Rolling Meadow Lakes development.
The road extension would usher in more than 2,000 new homes there in coming years.

Rolling Meadow Ranch, Inc. has applied for an environmental permit from the St. Johns River Water Management District to build about one mile of St. Johns Heritage Parkway as an “offsite improvement” for the so-called Rolling Meadow Lakes development. That would include dry retention “cells” for stormwater management and 6.27 acres of “impervious surface.”
