FORT PIERCE – The Fort Pierce Redevelopment Agency voted unanimously March 19 to authorize staff to execute a contract for the property at 1238 Avenue D adjacent to the new Highwaymen Museum in hopes of using that parcel to augment museum operations.
Community and Economic Development Director Shyanne Harnage introduced the agenda item that morning.
“We’ve been working on this project since last summer when we identified this property next to our Highwaymen Museum that is now open,” she said. “We have been working with the property owner and our city attorney on developing this purchase and sale agreement. You previously executed a resolution in October, but we didn’t have the terms available at that point.”…
