April 3, 2026 – HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital marked a significant milestone in its ongoing expansion project with the placement of the final beam atop the facility’s new fifth-floor tower. The beam, signed by hospital staff and leaders, symbolizes the collective commitment to meeting the growing healthcare needs of the community.
The tower expansion will add 32 additional patient beds, enhancing the hospital’s capacity to deliver high-quality care as demand for healthcare services continues to rise across the region. The milestone was celebrated with a ceremonial “topping out” event, bringing together physicians, nurses, colleagues, and construction partners who have contributed to the project’s progress.
