Port St. Lucie near bottom in Florida rankings in WalletHub’s healthiest cities report

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — Port St. Lucie ranked as one of Florida’s least healthy cities in a new WalletHub report, finishing No. 141 overall and trailing every Florida city in the study except Cape Coral and Hialeah. The 2026 report cited weak rankings in health care, green space and access to healthy dining options for Port St. Lucie.

Port St. Lucie landed near the bottom of Florida’s cities in WalletHub’s 2026 “Healthiest & Unhealthiest Cities in America” report. WalletHub gave Port St. Lucie a total score of 38.25, with especially weak showings in health care at No. 129 and green space at No. 155 in its national rankings.

The report also highlighted some specific trouble spots for Port St. Lucie: it ranked No. 175 for healthy restaurants per capita and No. 178 for dietitians and nutritionists per capita, both among the worst in the country…
