Woman accused of breaking into two Hobe Sound homes, one occupied

HOBE SOUND, Fla. (CBS12) — A Washington, D.C. woman faces charges after allegedly breaking into two Hobe Sound homes, including one that was occupied.

According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, the burglaries occurred Tuesday. In a occupied home near SE Guava Drive, the victim said a woman entered while they were inside and struggled with her while trying to take a dog crate with the homeowner’s dog inside.

The sheriff’s office says the homeowner was able to get her to release the crate before she fled the scene. The dog was not injured…
