Jupiter police nab woman accused of using fake IDs, stolen Treasury checks

JUPITER, Fla. (CBS12) — A Jupiter investigation ended in arrest after police say a 62-year-old woman had fake IDs and stolen checks and admitted using them to fund her lifestyle.

According to the probable cause affidavit, officers with the Jupiter Police Department first encountered 62-year-old Kristina Hope Berggren of West Palm Beach on Monday during a scene investigation where she was sitting on a curb on the 6700 block of W. Indiantown Road.

During the search, police allegedly discovered several fraudulent documents, including driver’s licenses from New Jersey, Washington, and New York, all bearing Berggren’s photograph but with different names…
