ST. LUCIE COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — St. Lucie County officials will host a public meeting on Wednesday evening to update residents on a planned drainage project aimed at addressing ongoing flooding concerns in parts of the community.
The meeting will focus on the Tilton Road Watershed Phase II Drainage Project, which targets areas in northeast Port St. Lucie where residents have reported persistent standing water and drainage issues.
County Public Works staff and engineers are expected to outline proposed improvements, explain how the project is designed to move stormwater more efficiently, and discuss what residents can expect as construction gets underway later this year.
