PORTLAND, Ore. — A suspect is in custody after stealing a small oil tanker and ramming multiple Portland police cars and other vehicles while fleeing Monday morning, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
The tanker had been left running near Southeast 9th Avenue and Ankeny Street when it was taken at about 7:20 a.m., police said.
