Portland driver hospitalized after I-5 deer crash; condition not released

VANCOUVER, Wash. (KATU) — A Portland resident is recovering after a frightening incident Monday night.

According to the Washington State Patrol, 38-year-old Kendra Watkins was traveling south on Interstate 5 near milepost 52 in Cowlitz County, when a deer jumped into the left lane.
