Portland among top 30 cities for dog attacks on USPS employees

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Portland is listed as one of the top 30 cities for dog attacks on postal workers, according to the U.S Postal Service (USPS) on Wednesday.

Officials at USPS said that in 2025, employees suffered more than 5,200 dog attacks. As a result, USPS has released safety guidelines as well as a list of cities that have the most dog attack reports. Portland is number 27, but the top spot goes to Los Angeles.
