Clackamas Community College will name its new Natural Resources Center after a local couple who recently donated $5 million to the project.
Terry and Cheryl Holden — who previously gave $5 million for the college’s Holden Industrial Technology Center, named in their honor — will now have a second building on the Oregon City campus bearing their name.
Their two $5 million gifts are the largest one-time donations the college has ever received.
Terry Holden, now retired, worked as an accountant and later as a managing partner in a real estate development firm, T.L. Holden Inc. Although the couple now lives in Las Vegas, they maintain strong ties to Oregon and Clackamas County. Cheryl Holden grew up in Estacada, and Terry Holden in Molalla…
