CLARK COUNTY, Wash. (KPTV) – One person was taken to a hospital after authorities say they crashed into a utility pole in the Hazel Dell area early Friday morning.
The crash happened just before 6:30 a.m. near the 8200 block of Northeast Highway 99. Clark County Fire District 6 said the driver hit a utility pole and the impact caused the car to catch fire.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office said witnesses helped the driver get out of the car before fire crews arrived. The driver, a 44-year-old man, was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the remains under investigation, but the sheriff’s office does not believe impairment was a factor…
