How Investigators Say the Arrest Unfolded
According to the Vancouver Police Department, the case began when someone close to the juvenile reported troubling messages between the teen and an adult. Detectives from the department’s Special Investigations Unit, Digital Evidence Cybercrime Unit and the Children’s Justice Center developed the case and ultimately arrested Sohlman when he arrived at the middle school.
