Police are asking the public for help in finding a missing and endangered man.
Kenneth L. Jeffries, 81, left the Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center at 3710 S.W. US Veterans Hospital Road at about 6 a.m. Thursday and did not return, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
