Portland/Metro Fishing Report by Bob Rees

While the Portland Harbor bite is still in play, action slowed a bunch from the previous week. Catch rates dropped off for spring Chinook, but trollers can bank on fair to good fishing for the next few weeks or longer, especially given the fact that the run is coming in better than expected.

Just keep hitting the river for the day break bite, knowing that the action is short lived although some fish may fall around tide change as well…
