Dozens arrested in retail theft crime sting in Portland and Clackamas County

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Dozens of people were arrested in Portland and Clackamas County as part of a retail theft mission encompassing multiple law enforcement agencies, authorities said.

In Clackamas County alone, from Aug. 5-6, 37 people were arrested on charges that include 25 outstanding arrest warrants and the recovery of $7,400 in stolen merchandise, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said.
