Oregon man gets supervised release for laser pointed at military helicopter

A Molalla resident who shined a laser pointer at an Oregon Army National Guard Blackhawk helicopter in July 2024 was sentenced to six months of federal supervised release.

The helicopter pilot was flying a training mission on July 1, 2024, in the area of Mulino State Airport, about 23 miles south of Portland.
