PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – The man accused of attacking a security officer at Pioneer Federal Courthouse pleaded guilty on Thursday.
Jett Avery Thomas, 42, pleaded guilty to three charges of aggravated assault on a federal employee, according to the Oregon District Attorney’s Office.
According to court documents, in 2023, Thomas threw an object at the courthouse, and when confronted by the security officer, he jumped the fence and chased him. The officer attempted to run into the courthouse, but Thomas caught up to him before he could secure the door…
