DUII arrest follows rollover crash that downed power lines in Lake Oswego

A rollover crash that left a vehicle upside down, a passenger trapped and power lines down in the roadway early Sunday ended with a Lake Oswego man arrested on multiple charges, including DUII.

Lake Oswego police officers responded just after 2 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 6 to the area of Spinosa at Jefferson Parkway after a caller reported hearing a traffic crash. The caller later told dispatch it was a single-vehicle crash, the car was upside down, and the driver appeared to be intoxicated.

Lake Oswego Fire Department and American Medical Response were sent to assist. When officers arrived, the driver was out of the car, but a passenger was stuck inside. Police said a power pole had been sheared off in the crash and power lines were down in the roadway…
