PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The I-5 southbound closure impacting the Portland area is happening in four days.The City of Portland and the Oregon Department of Transportation is warning commuters to expect major delays stretching all the way to Vancouver.
“It’s going to be rough,” shared the Shaken Not Stirred OwnerTerry Gibbons.
Gibbons lives in Vancouver, but his small business takes him to Oregon seven days a week. Starting Friday, all I-5 southbound lanes around the Rose Quarter will be closed for an estimated five weeks for construction.
