PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Nearly seven in 10 Portland residents are dissatisfied with the city’s cost of living, and only 39% say the city is on the right track.
The findings were reported in a survey of 1,252 Portland residents by the Oregon Values and Beliefs Center and North Star Civic Foundation, which was released this week.

While just 22% of Portland residents rated the city’s government as effective, it’s almost double the 13% who said it was effective in 2024.
