VANCOUVER, Wash. (KATU) — Vancouver residents who commute to Portland are preparing for earlier wake-up times and longer travel days as the southbound Interstate 5 closure through the Rose Quarter begins Friday, Sept. 11.
The closure begins at 10 p.m. Friday and is expected to last up to five weeks, affecting thousands of Clark County residents who use the I-5 Bridge to commute to Oregon each day.
