PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A mix of sun and clouds will help keep Portland-area temperatures cooler Friday as the Pacific Northwest prepares for weekend rain.
Dry skies are expected to take Portland through the day Friday. The brief sun breaks will help warm valley temperatures into the low 70s.
Saturday’s wet weather will bring measurable rain back to the coast and valley of western Oregon and southwest Washington. One or two of those rain showers could develop into an isolated thunderstorm. No severe weather is expected, but small hail, gusty winds, heavy rain, along with thunder and lightning are all possible.
