PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A Portland man is set to receive his sentencing in court Monday after pleading guilty to killing his fiancée two years ago.
In January 2024, 47-year-old Jeannie Enyeart was reported missing from her home in Northeast Portland. The partner she lived with, 35-year-old Jon French, told investigators he had not seen her.

Police said a witness found Enyeart’s car stuck in a snow bank in Skamania County with French behind the wheel and under the influence. Her body was later found in the backseat with a piece of a ceramic mug lodged in her back.
Investigators said she died from trauma to the neck. The evidence led police to arrest French in February 2024…
