PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Police have identified the pedestrian killed by a crash in Portland’s Sunnyside neighborhood in early September, officials announced on Tuesday.
Investigators said Simon A. Williamson, 25, was hit by a car in the block of 3600 SE Belmont St. on Saturday, Sept. 5. Police who responded to the scene reported finding him dead.

The driver involved in the crash remained on the scene to speak with police. Police said the driver is not expected to face charges.
