Police in the Portland-area community of Lake Oswego are taking a tougher approach to children riding electric bikes and scooters, with parents potentially facing fines when their children are caught riding illegally.
Fox 12 Oregon reported that Lake Oswego police have responded to more than 150 emergency calls involving dangerous riding since April, with young riders making up more than half of those stopped.
