PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A nonprofit health care company in the Pacific Northwest has announced dozens of layoffs, primarily in Southwest Washington.
On Sept. 17, PeaceHealth issued a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice stating the company will permanently eliminate 150 positions on Nov. 20, 2026.
The majority of these positions will impact staff in Vancouver, Wash., but will also impact some employees in Bellingham, Longview and Sedro-Woolley. One position will also be cut in Springfield, Ore.

The cut positions mainly impact IT staff members, but PeaceHealth said the company will “ensure that all caregivers will be paid all earned wages at the time of their layoff in accordance with Washington law.”…
