PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A union representing classified staff at Portland Public Schools has filed unfair labor practice charges against Oregon’s largest school district, alleging illegal union-busting and worker retaliation.
The Portland Federation of School Professionals submitted the complaint Friday to the Oregon Employment Relations Board. The union represents about 1,100 employees across more than 70 roles, including classroom assistants, administrative staff, technology specialists and safety personnel.
