BEAVERTON Ore. (KPTV) -The Beaverton School District surprised a husband and wife who met at Beaverton High School in the ’80s with their old locker on Wednesday. The gift comes ahead of the original Beaverton High School building’s scheduled demolition in early 2027.
Christine and Robert Huseby began dating during their senior year in 1983. Robert was a star on the basketball team. Christine was a bookworm who went on to win the 1984 Outstanding Senior Home Economics Award.
Soon, the two were head over heels, and locker No. 1241 became their spot. It was the place they’d meet between classes, share a laugh and leave each other love letters or treats…
